Caroline Horn - Program Chair

Caroline joined the Board of the LKLWV in 2019 and serves as the Program Chair. She is originally from Frankfort, Kentucky–the state capital–where civic and government involvement were an important aspect of community life. Caroline is currently the Manager for Fair Insurance Rates in Monroe (FIRM), a grassroots organization fighting for fair windstorm and flood insurance for residents of Monroe County.

Some of her previous employment has also focused on advocacy for organizations including the State YMCA of Kentucky, Downtown Frankfort, Inc., and the Kentucky Highway Industries. She has been a volunteer for the Alzheimers’ Association, Woodford County Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, the Florida Keys SPCA, Cooking with Love, and the Citizens Climate Lobby. Caroline is a graduate of Leadership Monroe Class XXVII (the best class), a member of Hometown!, and currently serves on the Monroe County Climate Change Action Committee.
