Liz Levi - Program Chair

Liz Levi is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She received as B.A. from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte in philosophy, a M.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in Modern German History and a J.D. from Yale Law School. She spent 25 years as an attorney in New York City specializing in large scale commercial real estate and corporate transactions at major law firms.
Liz recalls following her parents as they participated in voter registration drives during the civil rights movement. Their determination to register Black voters in the Deep South in spite of threats and intimidation made a deep impression on her and inspires her present activities to further voter education and participation.
Liz enjoys sailing and has sailed extensively in the Keys and the northeast.
