Who Can Register to Vote?
You may register to vote in Monroe County if you:
- Are a citizen and 18 years of age.
(You can pre-register to vote at 16 or when you receive a valid Florida Driver’s License, but cannot vote until age 18.)
- Reside in Monroe County. There is no length of time you must live in Monroe County to register to vote.
- Have not been declared “mentally incompetent.”
- Have not been convicted of a felony or, if you have been previously convicted, have had your civil rights restored.
